Acuna steals show with 452-ft. blast, HR robbery

Braves phenom Ronald Acuna Jr. grabbed the spotlight in the fourth inning, smashing a 452-foot jack for Atlanta’s longest homer since 2015 before bringing one back off the bat of Matt Adams in the bottom of the frame. Tyler Flowers also homered in the fourth, a 448-foot blast, which followed Charlie Culberson’s three-run shot in the second inning, as the Braves pulled within a half-game of the first-place Phillies in the NL East. For the Nationals, Bryce Harper homered in the sixth and rookie Juan Soto received his first career ejection.
